Hailing from Japan, makeup artist Mari Kuno studied fashion design before discovering makeup as a career prospect that excited her the most. After graduating, Mari moved to London where she had extensive assisting experience whilst simultaneously working on personal projects, honing her eye and skill for unique concepts. Now an independent creative, Mari creates makeup designs and looks for Charles Jeffrey Loverboy, Aries, Umbro and Conner Ives. Known for her playful and expressive style, her makeup is infused with sophistication and precision. Her confidence in creating technically strong looks spans from anything from creating beautiful skin to working with colour, graphic eyes and unique eyelash designs.
