Composer and sound designer Shane Connolly got into DJing at 15 when he bought his first pair of turntables, playing regularly on pirate radio with friends. This led him to making his own music, eventually enrolling to study sound engineering and then a BA in Sound Art and Design at UAL.
Shane’s diverse experience is at the core of his approach. In 2009, Shane started his own arts and culture magazine, which allowed integrating photography, filmmaking and music as well as art installations and events. He worked as the art director at NTS Radio for 7 years before leaving to focus on making music full time in 2018. With his ability to compose, create sound design, mix and master, together with a deep understanding of the audio-visual relationship, Shane has worked with clients such as Diesel, Steve Madden, Belstaff, Vogue, Selfridges, Nike, Adidas and Google.
