Mike O'Gorman's beautiful and technically-strong work draws on his diverse skill set, honed from years learning from the session world’s finest talent. Confident with wigs, textured hair and male grooming, he has worked with Burberry, Mr Porter, Selfridges, Mulberry, Zara, H&M, Dunhill, British Vogue, Beauty Papers and AnOther.

Mike spent the early years of his hairdressing career based in Liverpool before moving and working in Melbourne, Australia and later in New York and Miami. In 2012 he returned to the UK and was selected via a nationwide audition process to represent Wella as part of their Generation Now artistic team. A year spent being mentored by leading industry figures (including Gary Gill) inspired him to leave the salon world and focus solely on fashion.

He then spent several years working and training under many of the industry's leading artists, including time spent as Gary Gill, Daniel Martin and Cyndia Harvey’s 1st assistant and working on show teams for Eugene Soulieman, Duffy and Paul Hanlon. In 2017 he was awarded the Fashionista award by Creative Head Magazine at the annual IT List awards, recognising rising stars within the hairdressing industry. In 2020 Mike co-founded The Rubicon, an East London co-working space for beauty creatives to run their business, shoot content, meet clients and prep for jobs.
