Originally from Toyama, Japan, Masashi Konno began his career at Toni&Guy, where he became the fastest stylist to debut—an achievement that earned him multiple awards across national hair competitions.
Driven by a passion for editorial and creative work, Masashi transitioned into session hairstyling, honing his skills under top Japanese stylists before relocating to London. There, he assisted renowned names including Eugene Souleiman and Soichi Inagaki, while also building a strong independent portfolio.
Known for his high-quality, elaborate, and efficient work, Masashi brings a creative and polished touch to every project. His artistry is deeply inspired by nature, yet shaped by the raw energy of punk and biker subcultures. With a focus on texture and delicacy, he excels in cutting, colouring, and custom wig-making, with a love for designing era-specific wigs that evoke character and narrative.
